科学发展观的核心是坚持以人为本。统一战线工作作为党的一项特殊的群众工作和政治工作,归根到底是做人的工作,统一战线贯彻落实科学发展观,必须坚持以人为本。统一战线坚持以人为本,就是要做好团结人的工作、引导人的工作、培养人的工作和照顾人的工作,最大限度地发展好、实现好、维护好统一战线广大成员的根本利益,把他们紧密地团结在党的周围,为实现全面建设小康社会宏伟目标和中华民族伟大复兴而共同奋斗。

The core of Scientific Outlook on Development is to persist in people - orientation. Being one of the CPC special political tasks which is related to the mass, the United Front work is finally the work with people. To implement the Scientific Outlook on Development, the United Front must persist in the principle of people - orientation. That means the United Front must successfully accomplish the work of uniting people, guiding people, training people and taking care of the people. We need to develop, achieve and safeguard to the maximum the fundamental interests of the United Front members, make them rally more closely around the CPC, and work together with them to build up a well - off society and achieve the great rejuvenation of Chinese nation.
