The global fashion trends influencing beauty industry were reviewed. Some classic ayurvedic Indian herbal medicine/eastern ingredients were introduced, and the beauty products containing these ingredients launched in recent years were also included here. It pointed out that the use of ayurvedic plants and spices in high performance skin care and cosmetics expected to grow, because they fit well with natural/organic trend.
