The high--voltage circuit breaker is the most important electric equipment besides the generator and the transformer. It＇ s operation influences the stabilization and reliability of the whole electric power system. This paper explores the diagnostic techniques of high--voltage circuit breaker by adopting wavelet analysis transform and the wave of the close and trip loops.
