摘要
以2-溴异丁酸乙酯,四水合氯化亚铁,五甲基二乙烯三胺为引发体系,在90℃下引发甲基丙烯酸丁酯进行原子转移自由基聚合反应(ATRP)。结果表明,聚合速率与单体浓度呈一级关系,聚合产物数均分子质量与转化率呈现一定的线性关系。同时研究了氯化亚铁与五甲基二乙烯三胺的比例不同时的动力学过程,在几种引发剂中,2溴-异丁酸乙酯呈现较快的聚合效率。
The synthesis of n-butyl methacrylate by atom transfer radical polymerization(ATRP) was reported.This polymer was prepared using FeCl2·4H2O/N,N,N′,N″,N″-pentamethyldiethylenetriamine(PMDETA) catalyst system in conjunction with ethyl 2-bromoisobutyrate(EBiB) as initiator at 90℃ in bulk.The number-average molecular weights of the resulting polymers increased in direct proportion to the monomer conversion,and the polydispersities(Mw/Mn) were low.The rate of polymerization exhibited first-order kinetic with respect to the monomer.The effect of various ratios of IronII chloride to PMDETA on the polymerization was investigated.The atom transfer radical polymerization was also investigated in different initiators.Among the initiation systems,ethyl 2-bromoisobutyrate gave the fastest polymerization rate.
