摘要
在现有平面图形设计技术的基础上,研究了一种自由曲面雕刻图形设计方法。根据曲面角点位置确定适当的设计平面,利用现有CAD软件设计平面雕刻图形,依次提取平面图形的轮廓曲线,按照曲线取点投影的方法在曲面上分别求得各轮廓曲线的正投影,从而得到相应的曲面雕刻图形。应用实例表明,该设计方法稳定性好,效率高,能有效克服现有手工设计方法在效率和一致性方面的不足。
Based on existing design technique on plane graphic ,a new method of generating engraving graphics on sculptured surface is proposed. A design plane is firstly defined by four corner points on a surface. The engraving graphics on the plane are designed by any CAD software. All the contour curves of the planar graphics are extracted and orthogonally projected onto the sculptured surface respectively. The projecting curves form the contour curves of engraving graphics on sculptured surface. Application examples prove that the proposed method has good stability and high efficiency, it can cover the shortage of traditional manual design technique on efficiency and consistency.
