高平开化寺北宋大方便佛报恩经变壁画内容考释

An Analysis of the Northern Song Dynasty Murals Illustrating the Sutra Titled Dafangbian Fo Bao'en Jing in Kaihua Temple at Gaoping

山西高平开化寺大雄宝殿壁画,系目前仅存的有一定规模的北宋时期地面寺院壁画。其中的大方便佛报恩经变,在四铺说法图中穿插八个本生、因缘故事图,旨在宣扬佛教孝行为出世间大孝、至孝,并因此成就金刚不坏法身的思想。该文在多次实地调查基础上,绘制大量线图,应用图像学方法,详细考释了画面内容,并且分析了其中蕴藏的思想内涵和艺术风格。

The murals in the Daxiongbaodian[Hall]of Kaihua Temple in Gaoping,Shanxi Province,are some of the most intact extant temple murals of the Northern Song Dynasty.They illustrate the sutra titled Dafangbian Fo Bao'en Jing and comprise four large panels with eight Jataka episodes.They illustrate stories of filial piety in a Buddhist context and the idea of the incorruptibility of the Jinggang.On the basis of a number of surveys,the author has reproduced the murals in line drawings and applied iconographic techniques to explain the content,as well as discussing their intellectual content and artistic style.
