Pound＇s imagist poems play more and more significant roles in the western literature and foreign language teaching. The paper briefly introduces Pound and his imagist poems, then sets to explore the function of schema theory, in order to help both the teachers and students to make researches on Pound and his imagist poems from a new perspective, so as to stimulate their interest in the teaching and learning of English literature and shed new light on Chinese literature.
