The article takes the representative expansive soil example of the areas where the highway passes and carries out the repeated circle test of some common engineering indexes of the soil example in the laboratory.The test result reveals the varying laws of the expansive soil or its mixed soil with the normal soil under the dry and moist actions,which can provide the basis and reference for building and treating the roadbed of ClassⅡhighway constructed in the expansive soil areas.
