广东服务业利用FDI经济效应实证分析——基于1994-2007年的面板数据

An Empirical Research on the Effect of FDI on the Economic Growth of Guangdong Service Industry——Based on the Panel Data from 1994 to 2007

采用广东省1994-2007年的面板数据分析该省服务业利用FDI的经济效应.经计算服务业FDI业绩指数发现服务业利用外资业绩偏低.经回归分析发现服务业总体、交通运输、仓储、邮电通信业、批发和零售业贸易以及餐饮业的FDI对该行业经济增长有短期和长期的正面效应.而金融业和房地产业FDI的短期和长期效应则为负面或不明显.

Based on the panel data from 1994 to 2007, this paper analyzes the effect of FDI on the economic growth of service industry in Guangdong. The service industry did not achieve a good performance in utilizing foreign direct investment, according to the FDI performance index. The regression analysis shows that the short and long term impact of FDI on the economic growth of transport, storage and post industry and the wholesale and retail trades as well as hotel and catering service industry is positive; while FDI has a short and long term negative impact on the financial intermediation and real estate industry.
