The Research of VP Dynamic Bandwidth Management Strategy in ATM Networks

文章介绍了一种适合于混合业务类型、非均匀业务流两步长VP动态带宽管理策略，分析了带宽管理策略的带宽利用率、连接阻塞概率和带宽分配处理负载，对其进行了计算机模拟仿真，并与固定步长动态带宽管理策略进行了分析比较。

In this paper,we present a two-step sizes dynamicVP bandwidth management strategy apPlied to hybrid traffic types and non-well-distributed traffic in each VP. Thc bandwidth utilization,connection request blocking probability and bandwitlth allocation processing Ioad of the stratcgy are analyzed. The results of computer simulations are proposed. Per formance of the strategy is analyzed and compared with that of the fixed step size dynamic bandwidth management strategy.
