文学翻译中普世伦理建构的必要性

On Necessity of Constructing Universal Ethics in Literary Translation

从传统的翻译标准"忠实"到今天翻译理论家们提出的"伦理",伴随着当代翻译理论全面深入的发展,翻译标准也随之发生着变化。但伦理是在不同的文化传统中发展出来的,各国伦理自然会具有不同的内容和特点,而且各国译者长期受本国伦理思想的熏陶,必然会持有不同的伦理观,同一源文本可以产生不同的译本。因此在翻译中有必要建立普世伦理,在各国之间达成一种基本伦理共识,从而避免译者意识形态的偏见,真正达到文化的平等交流。

From traditional translation criterion ＂ fidelity＂ to what the translation theorists proposed ＂ ethics＂, the translation criterion undergoes change all the way with the comprehensible and deeper development of contemporary translation theory. Since the ethics develops in different cultural traditions, the ethics of different countries has different contents and characteristics. Furthermore, translators, nurtured in their indigenous ethics, will possess different ethic standard, therefore, one original text will have various translated texts. So it is necessary to establish universal ethics in translation and to reach a basic ethic commonsense among every countries, thus the translator＇s ideological bias can be avoided and a true cultural exchange can be achieved.
