Discussing Contributions of Mr. Wang Xi-Joe's Concealment and Dominance Theory to the Rhetoric

王希杰先生将潜显理论运用到修辞学的研究当中,提出显性修辞学与潜性修辞学及预测修辞学。他使修辞学研究具有了比较坚实的理论基础,使修辞现象摆脱了神秘色彩,使修辞学成为真正的科学。当然,潜显理论也存在着不足之处。

Mr. Wang Xi - Joe applies the theory of concealment and dominance to the researches of rhetoric, and puts forward dominance rhetoric, concealment rhetoric and predicts rhetoric. This text tries to expound the contributions of his theory to rhetoric. He laid the rhetoric study on the solid theoretical foundation , and makes the rhetoric broken away from the mystery . He made the rhetoric a real＂ science＂. Of course there is some limitation for any theory . This text attempts to explain the shortcomings of the concealment and dominance theory .
