This paper deals with the principle and technique of the detection of fetal electrocardiogram(FECG) and a new configuration of electrocardiograph.The adaptive noisecanceling technique is used to extract FECG from maternal abdominal wall noninvasively.Some results of the clinical experiments are statistically analyzed and the significance of abnormal FECG are discussed with diagnosis theory.Finally,some clinical FECG waveforms are presented with examples.
