奎屯河流域位于新疆天山北坡,发源于高山古冰川,山口以下形成冲积扇,河流在冲积扇中迂回摆动,下切为深槽,形成两岸多级台地地形,冲沟十分发育,植被条件极差,泥石流灾害频繁发生。
