摘要
文章记述了在四川盆地上侏罗统上沙溪庙组采到的一批巨型蜥脚类恐龙化石新材料，建立了一新种——井研马门溪龙（Ｍａｍｅｎ－ｃｈｉｓａｕｒｕｓｊｉｎｇｙａｎｅｎｓｉｓｓｐ．ｎｏｖ．）。新种的发现进一步证明马门溪龙属（ＭａｍｅｎｃｈｉｓａｕｒｕｓＹｏｕｎｇ，１９５４）及马门溪龙科（ＭａｍｅｎｃｈｉｓａｕｒｉｄａｅＹｏｕｎｇｅｔＣｈａｏ，１９７２）的分类位置应归勺齿蜥龙超科（Ｂｏｔｈｒｏｓａｕｒｏ－ｐｏｄｏｉｄｅａＹｏｕｎｇ，１９５８）。
Mamenchisaurus jingyanensis, a new species of sauropod dinosaur, from the Upper Jurassic of Sichuan Basin, China, is described in this paper. Diagnosis of M. jingyanensis: A gigantic sauropod, about 20～26 m in length. Skull moderately high and light. Naris small and situated in the anterior part of skull. Mandible slender. Teeth typically spatulate in form. Dental formula: Pm.4, M.14～16D.17～19. Cervical vertebrae extremely long. The pleurocoels of dorsals poorly developed. The spines of the anterior dorsals bifurcated. The anterior caudals remarkably procoelous. Humerus robust and straight.
