摘要
目的使用新的微螺钉种植支抗方法远中移动整个上颌牙列。方法采用不锈钢质微螺钉种植体植入颧下嵴区(IZC),提供最佳骨性支抗,并大大简化操作的方法。结果采用新的微螺钉种植方法远中移动整个上颌牙列,在临床上获得成功。结论在IZC区使用不锈钢质微螺钉种植体作支抗,可直接实现整个上颌牙列的远中移动。
Objective To distalize the whole maxillary dentition using a new method of mini screw implant placement. Methods 2 mm× 12 mm Stainless steel mini-screw implants were placed in the infrazygomatic crest (IZC) area at an angle of 55 - 70° to the maxillary occlusal plane. These implants could be used as excellent skeletal anchorage from which coil springs were applied to retract the whole maxillary dentition distally. Results This new method had been proved to be a success in clinical application. With the new IZC placement of mini-implants the whole maxillary dentition could be distalized in a simple and direct way. Cases with mild to moderate convex profile could be treated without extraction. Conclusions IZC Placement of stainless steel mini implants could provide not only excellent skeletal anchorage but also a novel way to distalize the whole maxillary dentition efficiently.
