科学管理不仅是作为制度和方法的"泰罗制",更是对现代社会进程产生了深远影响的"泰罗主义"哲学思潮。其哲学属性有三:组织系统性、实用科学性以及结构程序性。前两者分别为整体系统观、科学主义思潮在管理思想中的具体内化,是科学精神的直接体现;后者为泰罗将系统观与科学精神导入管理行为所作的创新性贡献,是既有零散程序化管理思想的综合集成,是现代系统管理理论的核心内容。提炼其科学理性精髓,是科学发展语境下重提泰罗科学管理的根本原因。

The Scientific management was usually known as. Taylor system, a kind of method. But if we want to grasp the whole meaning of the scientific management and apply it fitly to the practice of Chinese Modernization, we must understand the Taylorism more thoroughly which was a kind of far- reaching trend of thought to the process of modem society, and what is called philosophical unscrambled. There are 3 aspects of its philosophical characters,such as organizational system,utility science and framed procedure. The former 2 characters were sepa- rately and concretely incarnated by the viewpoints of integer system and utility science in the field of production management. The later was Taylor＇ s ideographic contribution which he introduced the spirit of system and science into the administrative behavior. It was the synthesis integration of the old scattered thought of procedural management and is the inaugurated and core contents of the modern system management theory.
