复介电右手材料和左手材料构成的光子晶体的特性研究 被引量:4

摘要 利用传输矩阵法研究了复介电右手材料和左手材料构成的光子晶体的带隙结构和光传输特性。研究结果表明:一维右手材料和左手材料构成的光子晶体具有宽禁带的特点,禁带中出现多个共振透射峰。当组成该光子晶体的右手材料为复介电且其虚部为负时,各共振透射模式都出现了较强的增益,且虚部的绝对值较小时,增益随着波长的增加呈指数减小。而虚部的绝对值较大时,增益与波长的关系近似呈倒"V"形状。随着复介电常量的虚部绝对值的增加,各透射增益先增加后减少,中间存在一极值点。而当组成该光子晶体的右手材料的复介电虑部为正时,表现为对各共振透射模式的吸收,且吸收随着波长的增加呈指数增加。这一结果为光子晶体同时实现多通道超窄带滤波器和光放大微器件提供了理论基础。 By using the method of optical transfer matrix, the characteristics of photonic forbidden band and the propagation of photonic crystal made of LHM and RHM with an imaginary, part of dielectric constant are studied. The investigation results show that the band gap of the photonic crystal made of LHM is wide and multi - transmittance peaks appear in the forbidden band. The large transmittance gains appear at transmittance peaks if the imaginary part of dielectric layer' s dielectric constant is negative, and the transmittance gains decrease in exponent with the increasing of wavelength when the absolute of the imaginary of dielectric constant is lesser. The relation between the transmittance gains and wavelength is "V". With the increasing of the absolute of the imaginary part, the transmittance gain is increasing firstly then decreasing and in the middle the transmittance gain apex appears. However, the transmittance peaks are absorbed if the imaginary part of dielectric constant is positive, 'and the absorbing is increasing with wavelength in exponent. The conclusion is might be used to multi - channeled narrow band filter and multi - channeled optical amplification device synchronously.
