桂东南地区中学英语课堂教学改革存在的问题及对策

Problems Existing in the Reformation of Middle School English Class in Southeast of Guangxi and Their Countermeasures

目前,桂东南地区中学英语课堂教学改革仍存在一些普遍问题:教师对新课程标准和新教材的理解与适应能力有限,任务型教学法没有得到有效运用,研究性学习和探究活动难以开展,教学方法还是传统的单一的"授-受"教学方式,教学手段较落后,课堂气氛沉闷等;因此,教育主管部门和学校要更新教育观念,通过多渠道加强师资培训,提高教师专业素质。

Due to the influences of various elements,the reformation of middle school English class in Southeast of Guangxi Chuang Autonomous Region is confronted with some common problems,which are mainly the teachers＇ limited capability in understanding and adapting to the New Curriculum Criteria and the new textbooks,inadequate application of the task-based teaching approach in class,failure to develop inquiry study and research activities,and＂forced-feeding＂traditional teaching method still dominating class teaching,etc..To solve the problems,education departments and schools should update their educational ideas,and reinforce teacher training by various channels so as to enhance the teachers＇ professional qualities.
