No.1 Geophysical Exploration Company of Daqing Drilling ＆ Exploration Engineering Branch of CNPC（No.1 DGEC） was established in 1981. The predecessor of No.1 DGEC was the Geological Survey Department of Songliao Petroleum Exploration Bureau of Daqing Oilfield established in 1960. It has worked in geophysical exploration for 48 years. It is the only specialized company in Daqing Oilfield which explores for petroleum and natural gas geologic reserves as well as other resources associated with oil and gas.
