The crude production of PetroChina Daqing Oilfield has been accumulated to 1.95 billion tons following nearly five decades of intensive exploration and highefficiency development. Currently, the proven rate of the reserves reaches 65 percent at the giant oilfield while the comprehensive water cut exceeds 90 percent. In such a stern situation, Daqing is striving to take advantage of technological creation and progress to maintain its sustainable development on the basis of tertiary oil production.
