介绍了全球FTTx的发展现状、业务需求和相应的网络结构形态,分析了各种FTTx的技术特征和应做的选择,讲述了两种无源网络技术的特征和面临的共同挑战。最后,简要讲述推动FTTx发展的两个关键因素以及我国FTTx的发展策略。

In this article, the current situation of global FTTx, as well as the service requirements and corresponding pattern of network architecture are introduced. The characteristics of the two passive network technologies are described and the common challenges they are facing are analyzed. In the end, the two key elements to promote FTTx and the strategies to deploy FTTx in China are proposed.
