It summarized the multiple source remote sensing image fusion concept as well as the fusion process, three kind of fusion levels, and the advantages and demerits. Then it described the commonly used fusion method and the step. It also discussed the subjective and objective standard for remote sensing image assessment. Finally, it summarized the key technologies in further research for multiple source remote sensing image fusion, provided the reference for similar research and applications.
