This paper introduced the overview of the project of the Harbin subway line 1. It summarized the application of GPS technique in establishing the control network of construction for the project of Harbin subway line 1, and accumulated the experiences on establishing the control network of subway construction using GPS technique. Finally, suggestions of establishing the control network of construction for subway engineering are given.
