古罗马诗人兼文艺理论家贺拉斯的《诗艺》虽然创见不多,但也蕴涵着丰富的美学思想。和谐、真实、合式是其中最主要的最有价值的美学思想。当然,和谐、真实、合式在贺拉斯的美学思想中是统一的,和谐是核心,真实和合式是达到和谐的途径。从整体上看,贺拉斯的美学思想仍然体现着西方古代的"和谐"这一传统的美学观。

Horatius is the ancient Rome poet and art theorist. Although his ＂poetry art＂ isn＇t much new idea, it also contains rich aesthetic thought. Harmony, reality and decorum are the most valuabl in Horatius＇ aesthetic thought. Of course, they are suitably unified in Horatius＇ aesthetic thought. Harmony is the core and reahty, decorum is the way to achieve harmony. Overall, Horatius＇ aesthetic thought embodies the traditional ＂harmony＂ aesthetic view of the western ancient aesthetics.
