摘要
中国高性能宽带信息网——3Tnet是一种能提供大规模视频服务的新型网络。基于3Tnet视频点播网络结构,提出一种称为动态协作合并视频流的新方案。该方案在3Tnet视频补充流组播调度算法的基础上,利用动态协作合并视频流的调度算法,以求进一步降低3Tnet视频点播服务中边缘网的带宽需求。仿真结果显示,当视频节目数达到3 000部时,本方案比对等网络(p2p)链式方案可分别节省28.2%边缘网的传输带宽和47.2%驻地网的传输带宽;与补充流组播方案比较,在略微增加3.8%驻地网上传带宽的条件下,可节省17.6%的边缘网传输带宽。
China' s high performance broadband information network, named 3Tnet, is a new network with large-seale video services. Based on the architecture of VOD service over 3Tnet, a new dynamie collaborative merging scheme is proposed. This scheme employs a dynamic collaborative merging seheduling algorithm based on a patching muhicast policy to further reduce bandwidth requirement of the edge network for VOD serviee over 3Tnet. Simulation results show that, with 3 000 movies, the proposed scheme can save about 28.2% bandwidth of the edge network and 47.2% bandwidth of the residential network, respectively, compared with a peer-to-peer chaining policy. Moreover, compared with the patehing multieast policy, this seheme can save about 17.6% bandwidth of the edge network by slightly increasing bandwidth ( about 3.8% ) of the residential network.
