中国传统的批评方式之一评点,在经历了明清时代的盛行、近代的抛弃和断层后,于上世纪末悄然回归。当代三国大家沈伯俊应用这一传统的批评模式对《三国演义》重新评点、校理。其评点充分体现了这一传统批评方式贴近文本、知音赏鉴、亲和读者等优势及特征,同时代表了当代《三国演义》研究现状的基本视角。沈评将严谨的学术观点融入平实简练的文字之中,用感性的语言梳理理性的概念,融贯古今,在尊重历史和古人研究的基础上,努力着眼于当代视野,其在继承古代评点基本手法的基础上体现出两大特点:一是在对人物形象塑造的把握中体现了当代视角,二是在对历史小说的分析中表现出学术眼光。
