The on-line mayor mailbox has put up a brand-new and convenient bridge between the government and the citizens. It is both a big breakthrough and a huge innovation to the traditional bureaucracy, and will give great impetus to the constructions of service-oriented government for Wuhan. Taking on-line mayor mailbox in Wuhan as a case, the article has carried a thorough analysis on the online mayor mailbox, and has analyzed the backgrounds, the characteristics and functions of this institution, and has proposed corresponding improved measures as well.
