An Investigation about the Students' needs in Junior Middle Schools in Changsha City

根据马斯洛需要层次理论,编制量表,调查长沙市初中生,对结果进行了统计分析,得出了很多有价值的发现,如,总体来看,学生安全的需要满足状况得分最低;重点中学学生在交往方面的满足状况明显低于普通中学;来自农村的同学与来自城市的同学相比在安全感上差异极显著;和睦的家庭对于初中生特别重要,它从各方面影响着学生需要满足的状况。

According to Maslow＇s theory about the level of needs, we produced a questionnaire to investigate the students in junior middle school in Changsha City, and then analyzed the result of the investigation. Conclusions are drew as follows： for the safety condition, the students get the lowest scores; the scores of the students from key middle school are lower than those from the genera/middle school in the field of personal contact; the difference in terms of the sense of security between the students from urban and rural areas is extremely remarkable; and a harmonious home is particularly important for junior high school students, which affects the students in all aspects.
