摘要
语言学与外语教学有着密不可分的关系。外语教师应了解、研究语言的本质和规律,并在教学中遵循这些规律,以帮助语言学习者更为经济、有效地掌握目的语。文章从语言的本质看外语教学,从外语教师的角度讨论语言学研究对大学英语教学的启示。
Linguistics has a close relationship with FL teaching. So the language teachers should know about and further study the nature and rules of languages, and try to obey the rules in teaching to help language learners to master the object language more efficiently and easily. This paper discusses the language nature and its implications to college English teaching.
