摘要
词汇是构成语言大厦的基石,对英语水平的提高至关重要。调查发现,学生词汇量贫乏,缺乏有效的策略指导已成为高职教学的突出问题。文章在分析高职院校学生词汇水平和语境策略使用情况的基础上,通过对实验组为期3个月的语境策略培训,探讨了语境策略和词汇习得的关系。研究表明语境策略是高职学生提高词汇量、促进英语学习的有效途径。
Vocabulary is the foundation to build up learners' language ability and it's essential to improve learners' language ability'. According to surveys, lacking of vocabulary and effective instruction has become a serious problem in vocabulary college students' vocabulary learning. The relationship between vocabulary development and strategy use by vocabulary college students is probed based on the analysis of vocabulary ability and the use of context strategy after strategy training for 3 months. The research indicates the training and use of context strategy is an effective way for vocational college students to enlarge their vocabulary and activate their English learning.
