方言与民俗

Dialect and Folk-custom

语言作为一种社会现象,既是人们交流思想感情的工具,也是民俗传承的工具。各民族的民俗事象,也都是靠口头和行为传承的,所以它始终离不开语言。而所指的语言现象本身也是民俗现象则尤其表现在方言上。某一地区操某种方言也即是某一方言范围,它本身就体现了这一地区的民俗特点。正因为方言来自文化底层,其民俗文化底蕴既纷繁又丰富,所以在研究民俗学时,不能不涉及它。

Language, as a social phenomenon,is a tool for people to communicate,which is also a tool passing folk custom. Folk customs are taught and carried out orally in all ethical groups, especially with dialect. Dialects, spoken in certain regions, carry more information of folk custom. The study of folklore concerns dialect that is rich of culture.
