Japanese Monk Konghai's Unique Contribution to Chinese Classical Aesthetics

日僧空海的《文镜秘府论》是唐代一部比较成系统的诗歌理论专著,它的重要价值首先在于保存了一些中国已经失传的重要的诗论。《文镜秘府论》的内容主要是两部分:声律和意境的创造。它集中反映了唐代的诗风的全貌,而且显示出从尚声律到尚意境的转变。空海作为唐代来中国留学的日僧,为中国美学做出了独特的贡献。

Wenjing Mifu Lun by Japanese monk Konghai is a monograph on poetry theory and it preserves a number of important poetry theories lost. Wenjing Mifu Lun is composed of two parts： sound law and the creation of images of poem. It focuses on the whole picture of the poetry fromTang Dynasty , meanwhile it also shows the changes from emphasis on sound law to image. As a student abroad from Japan in Tang Dynasty, Konghai made a unique contribution to Chinese classical aesthetics.
