东汉末年至三国时期居住在襄阳的习氏家族中比较有名的有:习融、习郁、习询、习竺、习竺女、习承业、习蔼、习珍、习温、习祯、习授、庞林妇习氏;他们中有的"有德行",有的"博学有才鉴",有的"有威仪,善谈论",有的"才气锋爽",有的"仗剑自裁",有的有"义节",有的"守养弱女十几年",他们或服事于蜀汉,或入仕于孙吴。总之,襄阳习氏家族成员都是好样的。
