摘要
我国社会主义现代化建设新时期的体育发展，在邓小平建设有中国特色社会主义理论指导下，呈现出明显的时代特征。这就是：①体育发展与社会主义现代化建设相结合。②群众体育与竞技体育相结合。③政府推动与非政府组织推动相结合。④体育界自身奋斗与全社会关注相结合。⑤体育与社会主义精神文明建设相结合。⑥学习外国经验与自己独创相结合。
The following characteristics have been witnessed in China′s sports development during the modernisation move under the guidance of Deng Xiaoping′s theory of building socialism with the Chinese characteristics.They are the combinations of socail development and the socialist modernisation construction,public sports and competitive sports,governmental promotion and nongovernmental promotion,self efforts of the sports field and the concern of the whole society,and sports and the construction of socailist spiritual civilisation.
