Visual Form Elements and Visual Psychology of Painting Art

绘画的形式语言并不像我们在日常生活中的语言具有明确的语义,只有被画家在特定的情景中才组成一定的结构关系,表达一定的审美情趣。因而,我们给绘画形式语言所下的定义就是:由视觉形态要素——点、线、面、色、形、体等,依据画家内心情感和审美需求,在特定画面的结构关系中形成一种特殊的与观众交流的形式。

Different from the language of everyday life, the form language of painting do not has a specific semantics. It expresses a certain aesthetic taste only when the artist makes a specific composition in certain scenes. Thus, we give the form language of painting a definition. It is a special form to communicate with the audience constituted of visual elements i.e. point, line, surface, color, shape, cube, etc. in definite paintings, according to the artist＇ s inner feelings and aesthetic needs.
