摘要
International Forum on Development and Application of Geographical Sciences： A Retrospect for the Past Three Decades and Prospect was held in Guangzhou University on 19-22, December, 2008. It was sponsored by Guangzhou University, The Geographical Society of China, and Guangdong Geographical Society. More than 200 geographers and graduate students participated in this forum from more than 140 institutions throuzhout the world, including USA, UK, Australia and across the Taiwan Straits.
