在全面建设小康社会的新阶段,中国形成了许多新的社会阶层,他们也有入党的要求。这些人入党首先要解决其思想入党问题,以使我党永葆先进性。毛泽东的思想建党理论虽然形成于革命战争年代,但对于今天改革开放和社会主义市场经济体制条件下党的建设仍有重要指导意义,为新时期处理阶级基础和群众基础问题提供了依据,为保持党员纯洁性提供了方法,为党员坚定共产主义信念树立了典范。

In the comprehensive construction of the well-off society at new stage, China has formed many new social classes, they also have the request for joining the Communist Party of China. While these people are willing join the party, they must solve such a problem that their thought should join the party first of all to make our party preserve the advanced nature forever. Al- though Mao Zedong＇s thought party-building theory formed in the revolutionary war age, it still has an important guiding significance for the party＇ s construction under conditions of today＇ s reform and opening-up and the socialist market economic system, i.e. it had provided the basis for processing the problems of social class foundation and the mass foundation; offered the method to maintain the purity of party members in the new period ; and also set up the model for the new period party members of firm communism belief.
