The Generation of Multiresolution Pyramids Based on Facet Model

摘要 提出了一种产生多分辨率图象锥的新方法。它基于Facet模型在最小二乘法的准则下,把图象的灰度函数用二维平面拟合,达到直接在二维空间滤波的目的,而不同于以往的先在一维空间产生滤波器,再去近似二维空间滤波器的方法。实验结果表明,该方法比现有的其它产生多分辨率图象锥的方法具有信息能量损失小的优点。 A novel method of generating multiresolution pyramids is presented. Basing on the facet model, it achieves filtering directly in 2 dimension space by using 2 dimension polynomial to approximate the intensity function of images. The method is different from the ones existing, in which the 2 dimension filters areapproximated by two 1 dimension filters. Comparing with the existing methods, the experiment results show that the method has the advantage of less information energy loss.
