摘要
运用分形理论和Ｒ／Ｓ分析方法讨论了豫北地区城镇体系的演化特征。研究区内的城市人口、产值、规模分布的分维等指标的Ｈｕｒｓｔ指数都大于０．５，但数值有差异。结果显示，在一定时期内豫北地区的城市增长具有持久性，但其发展目标都具有均衡性。
A preliminary study was made on evolution and progress of the urban system in Yubei Area (North Henan Province) by means of rescaled range analysis(R/S analysis),population and GNP being used as variables. Some rules and characteristics were found of growth of the system of cities in the studied region in last decade.
