摘要
将手性引入盘状液晶中,合成了具有光学活性的盘状液晶3,4,5-三辛氧基苯甲酸胆甾醇酯.通过DSC和偏光显微镜研究显示,该化合物在38~65℃呈现液晶相.在对没食子酸甲酯进行多烷基化反应时,采用丙酮为溶剂,K2CO3为碱,在相转移催化剂作用下,反应时间缩短,产率提高.
An optical discotic liquid crystal, cholesteryl 3,4,5trioctanoxylbenzoate, is synthesized through reaction of the benzoyl chloride with cholesterol, a chiral reagent. Through DSC and optical microscope studies show that the compound appears mesogenic behavior from 38℃ to 65℃. The etherification of 3,4,5trioxylbenzoate is improved by the phase transfer catalyst, which shortens the reaction time and improves the yield.
