摘要 针对山脉的不规则几何形状,介绍了分形几何在模拟自然景象方面的优势,阐述了迭代函数系统IFS分形几何建模方法的基本原理和构图实质,提出了生成自然景象山脉的改进IFS算法;同时探讨了运用OpenGL和IFS分形算法生成山脉的基本方法,通过OpenGL提供的光照模型与色彩渲染语句等强大功能,实现了真实感山脉的绘制输出。该算法解决了传统随机迭代算法生成山脉颜色单一、层次感不强的问题,通过实验验证,取得了预期的效果。 The advantages of fractal geometry in simulating natural objects were introduced with respect to the irregular geometry of mountain. The fundamental principle and essence of fractal geometric models based on iterative function system(IFS) were described. An improved IFS fractal algorithm for building mountain was presented. The method of building mountain by applying OpenGL and IFS algorithm was discussed, which can realize the printing output of 3-dimensional mountain by OpenGL illumination model and color rending. This algorithm can prevent the monotonous coloring and insufficient layering in mountain simulation by conventional random iterative algorithms. The anticipated results were obtained by experimental verification.
