摘要
作为上世纪30年代的“扛鼎”之作和中国现代文学史上具有史诗性的建构,茅盾的长篇小说《子夜》与西方文学有着多维复杂的关联。本文拟从托尔斯泰和左拉的思想、创作与茅盾《子夜》的诞生,在作家世界观、思维方式、生活取向、作品构思及其它艺术手段的比较分析中,尝试探讨中国新文学对外国文学的动态流变式的借鉴、吸取和创造的审美建构方式,以期概括中外文学关系中某些可供借鉴的共通性。
The Midnight by Mao Dun, a quite famous writer in Chinese literature, can be regarded as the most influential work in modern Chinese literature in the 1930's. The great work has complicated relations with western writers, such as Tolstoy and Zola. From the writer's comprehensive philosophy of the world, the mode of thinking and the life styles to the arrangement and the artistic means of the different works, this comparative study tries to shed light on the modern Chinese literature's aesthetic development and its dynamic change in imitating, absorbing and creating the elements of the western literature.
