摘要
通过分析LED光源特点、目前存在的问题以及现场测试，以数据事实为依据，指出LED光源路灯虽可节省20%电费，但却需要增加5-10倍的灯具投资，因此大大阻碍了LED照明在城市道路领域中的推广应用。特别是高压钠灯（HPS）也是节能照明产品中的一员，所以急于采用LED光源更换替代HPS光源尚不是时候。
The traits, the problems at present and the site testing of LED light source have been analyzed in this paper. Based on the practical data, the author has pointed out why LED light source is not popular in urban road field. And the reason is that LED streetlight could save 20% electric cost but it needs adding 5 to 10 times investment on the luminaries. Speaking of the HPS, it also belongs to energy conservation lighting products. It has not been the right time to replace HPS by LED light source, in the author's opinion.
