20世纪80年代中后期是滇东诗歌真正觉醒和崛起的时期,这个颇具历史意义的崛起借助了"神话滇东"、"传说滇东"广博丰厚的诗意底蕴及情态可能。在20世纪80年代中后期及20世纪90年代,张永刚的诗歌创作通过对神话滇东的演绎及对"河流滇东"的审美开拓,促进了"诗意滇东"的成型和生长。张永刚是"诗意滇东"一个有贡献的诗歌实践者。

The beginning and rising of poem in eastern Yunnan occurred in the middle and late of 1980s, during which the theme of the poems borrowed the poetic connation of ＂the myth in eastern Yunnan＂ and ＂the legacy in eastern Yunnan＂. In the late 1980s and in the 1990s, Zhang Yonggang＇ s poem creation promotes the establishment and development of ＂poetic eastern Yunnan＂ through the interpretation of ＂the myth in eastem Yunnan＂ and the aesthetic opening of ＂rivers in eastern Yunnan＂. Zhang Yonggang is one of the poets who has contributed to the ＂poetic eastern Yunnan＂.
