Language Fusion of Chinese Loan Words from English and English Loan worlds from Chinese

英汉词汇互借是随着中国和英美等国之间交往历史的变迁而变化,从英汉词汇互借的内容和方式上可看出英汉词汇互借相互影响的程度。汉语中的英语外来词和英语中的汉语外来词互相引进的历程,某些借词被引进后的内化过程,对借词所涉及的范围归类和对引进借词的翻译方法进行总结、分析,反映出语言间文化的融合正逐渐向着趋同的方向发展。

Any living language in the world has been experiencing constant change and development with its social development as time goes by, which is true for that of the Chinese loan words from English and the English loan worlds from Chinese. Speaking and writing Chinese with English is a kind of fashion. We can see the influential degree between these two languages from the contents and modes of the loan words from each other. This paper makes a brief retrospection about the importing course of the Chinese loan words from English and English loan words from Chinese; expounds their respective assimilating process of some loan words after they were borrowed; classifies the loan words according their different fields; summarizes some methods to translate the loan words; analyses the reasons why English influences Chinese much greatly than Chinese on English and indicates that the language interaction, infiltration and fusion reflects that amalgamation is gradually heading for assimilation.
