An Introduction to the Philip's New Flat CRT

介绍在１９９７年国际信息显示会议上，菲利浦公司发布的新型平板ＣＲＴ的特性及结构特征。该ＣＲＴ发射电子源的产生基于一种全新的原理，所做出的平板ＣＲＴ的厚度只有１ｃｍ，且与显示面积的大小无关。

This paper describes the feature of the Philip’s new flat CRT published in SID'97 (Boston, MA, USA). It based on a new principle of the electron emission source. The resulting flat panel has a thickness about 1cm for any display size.
