简述了ＧＳＭ数字蜂窝移动系统中所用的语音编码———ＲＰＥＬＴＰ（规则脉冲激励长时预测）编码的原理，说明了ＲＰＥＬＴＰ编码特性及其对移动通信的影响。
This paper describes the principle of Regular Pulse Excited Long Term Prediction (RPE LTP) coding used in GSM digital cellular systems, and illustrates the performance of RPE LTP coding and its affection to mobile communications.
