摘要
目的:探讨E-cadherin和N-cadherin在非小细胞肺癌(NSCLC)中的表达与临床病理因素的关系。方法:采用SP免疫组化方法检测67例NSCLC及20例肺良性病变组织中E-cadherin和N-cadherin表达。结果:肺良性病变中E-cadherin表达率显著高于肺癌组织(90%vs49.25%P=0.001),N-cadher-in不表达,肺癌N-cadherin表达率为47.76%,两者比较差异有统计学意义,P=0.001。Ⅰ、Ⅱ期病例E-cadherin表达率高于Ⅲ、Ⅳ期病例(43.75%vs20%),差异有统计学意义,P=0.036;N-cadherin表达率显著率低于Ⅲ、Ⅳ期病例(25%vs48.57%),差异有统计学意义,P=0.046。无转移的病例E-cadherin表达率略低于有转移的病例(32.5%vs44.44%),差异无统计学意义,P=0.321;无转移的病例N-cadherin表达率显著低于有转移的病例(32.5%vs62.96%),差异有统计学意义,P=0.014。E-cadherin和N-cadherin在不同组织学类型及不同分化程度肿瘤中的表达率差异无统计学意义。结论:NSCLC中E-cadherin和N-cadherin表达水平与肿瘤的浸润转移密切相关,其中N-cadherin在NSCLC的恶性进程中的作用比E-cadherin更为重要,E-cadherin和N-cadherin尤其N-cadherin是评估NSCLC预后的有用指标。
OBJECTIVE: To investigate the expressions of E eadhirin and N cadhirin in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and their relationship with clinical and pathological factors. METHODS: The expressions of E cadhirin and N-cadhirin proteins were studied in 67 non-small cell lung cancer and 20 benign pulmonary tissues by immunohistochemical staining. RESULTS: The positive rate of E-cadherin in normal pulmonary tissues was significantly higher than that in NSCLC tissues (90% vs 49. 25%, P 0. 001), N-cadherin was not expressed in benign pulmonary tissues,whereas in NSCLC tissues the expression rate of N-Cadherin was 47. 76%, P=0. 001. The positive rate of E-cadherin in Ⅰ and Ⅱ stages was significantly higher than that in Ⅲ and Ⅳ stages(43.75% vs 20%, P=0. 036). The positive rate of N-eadherin in Ⅰ and Ⅱ stages is significantly lower than that in Ⅲ and Ⅳ stages(25 % vs 48. 57%, P=0. 046). The positive rate of E-cadherin in cases without metastasis was lower than that in cases with metastasis(32.5% vs 44.44%, P=0. 321). The posi- tive rate of N cadherin in cases without metastasis was significantly lower than that in cases with metastasis (32.5% vs 62.96%, P=0. 014). The expression rates of E-cadherin and N- cadhirin were not related to the histological factors. CONCLUSIONS: The abnormal expressions of E-cadherin and N-eadherin in NSCLC are important factors for the invasion and metastasis of NSCLC, and N cadherin may play a more important role than E-cadherin during the malignant degree of NCSCLC increased. The expressions of E cadherin and N-cadherin especially N-cadherin are significant prognostic factors of NSCLC patients.
