概述了吲哚的性质、用途及从煤焦油洗油中回收吲哚的方法。着重介绍了碱熔法、共沸精馏法、溶剂萃取法、络合法及酸聚合法。我国煤焦油资源丰富，采用适宜的方法回收吲哚，具有社会效益和经济效益。
The features, applications and recovery methods of the indole from coal-tar washing fraction are introduced, especially the way of alkali-smelting, azeotropic-rectifying, sol vent-extracting, inclusion-extracting and acid-polymerizing. The coal-tar resources are aboudant in China and a suitable process of recovering indole is profitable both in economics and society.
